About
Fine Thread Collection
Fine Thread Collection is a global embroidery fulfilment network — one point of contact connecting corporate clients, golf estates, and hospitality brands to a curated network of expert local studios worldwide. Orders are handled end-to-end: from artwork digitising and studio matching through to quality-checked delivery.
The FTC portal gives partner studios a streamlined workspace to manage orders, communicate on specifications, and track fulfilment — keeping every stakeholder aligned without the friction of unstructured email chains.
Founder
Chris Davies
Chris Davies has 25 years of experience in information technology, most recently as Group IT Manager at a UK automotive service provider — a 15-year tenure in which he led the business group's transition from legacy infrastructure to a cloud-first environment, built a bespoke vehicle tracking system for automotive OEMs, and achieved ISO 27001 Information Security accreditation. His work earned direct recognition from the organisation's CEO for the breadth and commercial impact of those programmes.
Born in South Africa and now operating a company registered in England (Company No. 16287096), Chris works with clients worldwide. Fine Thread Collection is the fulfilment-network product of that global perspective — bringing the same discipline of systems thinking and operational precision that characterised his IT career to the world of embroidered apparel.
Technology Partner
Samson Redline Technologies
Fine Thread Collection is built and operated by Samson Redline Technologies, the IT and AI consultancy Chris founded with the mission to be the long-term partner for businesses seeking growth through practical, results-driven solutions. SRT provides the technical infrastructure, portal development, and ongoing platform engineering that powers FTC's fulfilment operations.
The two organisations share a single guiding philosophy: that the right technology, applied with precision, removes friction and creates durable commercial advantage. FTC is the proof of concept — and the product.
